3hour Dance Therapy-Primitive Expression Workshop

with Alexia Margariti Ph.D.

I look forward to seeing you in our experiential dance therapy workshop…

…so we can dance together, find our personal rhythm and co-dance with it. Everyone  will be able to express themselves kinetically, using their unique beautiful way, and experience their personal rhythm in a safe, playful but also essential environment. We discover ourselves through our physical well-being and our better quality of life.

 The workshop is intended for:

·                   people of 18-118 years of age, wishing to discover themselves through their body, voice and imagination, who want to dance and have fun 

·                   dancers, singers, actors, wishing to strengthen their relation with the arts

·                   teachers, special educators and animators of any kind who want to enrich their skills required for their job

A certificate of attendance will be given.

Please wear comfortable clothing and socks.

Arrival time : before 17:15

Venue: Libertango Dance Studio, 3rd floor, Dimitrakopoulou 106, Koukaki (near Sygrou-Fix Metro Station), Athens

 Workshop Cost : 30 €

Since the course is experiential and participation is limited, priority will be given to those who apply first.

Alexia Margariti Ph.D.

Today, Alexia Margariti conducts Dance Therapy – Primitive Expression sessions, is a professor of the educational program of the Greek Association of Dance Therapists and also realizes Happy Fitness courses addressed to people of all ages. She does research concerning the results of Dance Therapy in psychiatric patients, in cooperation with the University of Athens. She gives lectures and participates in conferences in Greece and abroad. Having graduated from the National School of Dance, she proceeded to a Master of Science degree in the Sorbonne Paris IV University, specialized in Dance Therapy- Primitive Expression. She completed her PhD under the supervision of the School of Fine Arts of the University of Peloponnese.
